5/17/03 Sat. Arrived in Lima late, drive to Hotel
5/18/03 Sun. Bus to Huarez
5/19/03 Mon. Bus to Chavin for tour of pre-Inca ruins
5/20/03 Tues. Pratice hike near Huarez starting at 13,400 ft
5/21/03 Wed. Drive to Trail head at 9,240 ft. (1 on map) and hike to Llamac (2 on map) at 10,890 ft.
Lunch along the Rio Llamac
5/22/03 Thurs. Hike over 14,520 ft pass and camp at Lake Jahuacocha (3 on map) at 13,420 ft
5/23/03 Fri. Hike over 15,630 ft pass and camp near Rondoy (4 on map) at 13,860 ft
5/24/03 Sat. Hike over 15,460 ft pass and camp at Lake Mitococha (5 on map) at 13,960 ft
5/25/03 Sun. Hike over 15,350 ft pass and camp at Lake Carhuacocha (6 on map) at 13,650 ft
5/26/03 Mon. Hike over 15,000 ft pass and camp at Huayhuash (7 on map) at 14,290 ft
5/27/03 Tues. Hike over 15,680 ft pass and camp below Lake Viconga (not on map) at 14,620 ft
5/28/03 Wed. Hike over 15,840 ft pass and out along road past Lake Surasaca to board bus to Lime
5/29/03 Thurs. Visit museums in Lima.
5/30/03 Fri. Visit more museums in Lima and cultural show in evening. Fly out Sat morning at 1:05 am
